About Raybee
Raybee helps you find checked local suppliers for everything a site needs, from skips and waste removal to welfare units, fencing and surveys. Search by postcode, see who has had their paperwork checked, and contact suppliers directly. No booking fees.
What Raybee does
Finding a skip, a welfare cabin or a utility survey usually means ringing round, comparing quotes that aren't like for like, and hoping the firm is legitimate. Raybee puts local suppliers in one place so you can compare them properly.
- Search by postcode. You only see suppliers who cover your site.
- Check the paperwork. Profiles show whether a waste collector's registration has been checked against the official public register, and when it expires.
- Compare starting prices. Paid profiles show "from" prices, so you can see who is in range before you enquire.
- Get up to 3 quotes at once. Contact one supplier, or send one request to up to three. You agree price, dates and terms with them directly.
Why checking matters
Anyone who carries other people's waste as a business must be registered: with the Environment Agency in England, Natural Resources Wales, SEPA in Scotland or NIEA in Northern Ireland. If your waste ends up fly-tipped, you can be held responsible, so the law expects you to check. We check registrations before a waste collector is marked verified and re-check them every month, and every profile shows which checks have been done and when. Suppliers who pass all our checks carry the Raybee Checked badge. See what can go in a skip for your duty of care as a householder, or commercial skip hire for businesses.
How Raybee makes money
Suppliers can list for free. Suppliers who want to show their prices, logo and description, or appear higher in their areas, pay a flat monthly fee. We don't charge customers anything, take bookings, or take commission on the work suppliers win. Featured and Priority area suppliers are shown first in their areas and are labelled, so you always know when a listing is promoted. See supplier plans, or read how suppliers get skip hire and site services leads without buying shared leads.
Who runs Raybee
Raybee is run by Raybee Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17492137) with its registered office in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. It comes from the team behind Envico, which has helped construction clients find and book health and safety training from accredited providers since 2003. Most of Envico's clients work in construction, and Raybee grew out of the question they kept asking: who can I trust to supply my site?
Be more like Ray
A building job depends on services most people only notice when they are missing: the skip, the welfare cabin, the fencing, the survey before you dig. Ray is our worker bee. Ray’s job, and ours, is to fill each of those gaps with a local supplier whose paperwork has been checked.
Constructive
We check every waste collector’s registration against the official public register, re-check it every month and show the expiry date on their profile. Paid profiles show from prices, so you can compare like for like.
Efficient
One postcode search covers skips, waste, welfare, fencing, plant and surveys. Compare up to 3 suppliers side by side, then send one quote request to all of them instead of ringing round.
Essential
Construction sites must provide toilets, washing facilities and drinking water under CDM 2015, and site waste must go to a registered carrier. Raybee starts with the services a site can’t legally run without.
