How we set our supplier prices

Raybee charges suppliers for being seen, not for the work they win. Monthly plans have no lead fees and no commission. What you pay rises with the size of the area you want to appear in, and prices for council areas are set from official ONS counts of the businesses in each area.

Our pricing principles

  • No commission, ever. You keep everything you charge the customer.
  • No lead fees on monthly plans. Pay per enquiry is a separate, optional plan.
  • You pay for reach. The more of the UK you appear in, the more the plan costs.
  • Priority is exclusive. Each Priority spot goes to a single supplier per service in each area and is never sold twice. Featured is limited to 3 suppliers per service in each postcode district.
  • Local suppliers come first. Within each plan, suppliers covering the area locally appear above those covering the whole UK.
  • Month to month. All prices are per month plus VAT, and you can cancel any time.

How we price areas

Services delivered from a yard, such as skips, plant and welfare units, buy Priority by postcode district. The UK has about 2,400 geographic postcode districts, and £149 buys exclusive first place in 5 of them.

Consultants, surveyors, assessors and other suppliers who cover whole counties buy Priority by council area instead. Each council area is priced by how many businesses it has, using the Office for National Statistics' count of business sites in UK business: activity, size and location 2026.

Band Business sites in the council area Price a month + VAT Example
A+ 40,000 or more £199 Birmingham (45,590)
A 20,000 to 39,999 £149 Leeds (35,980)
B 10,000 to 19,999 £99 Cardiff (15,460)
C 5,000 to 9,999 £59 York (9,020)
D Under 5,000 £29 Darlington (4,255)

Take every council area in a county and you get 20% off that county.

Worked example

A fire risk assessor who wants first place in York and Darlington pays £79 for Featured, plus £59 for York and £29 for Darlington: £167 a month + VAT.

Why nationwide listings cost more

A nationwide listing appears in every search in the UK, across all 363 council areas, instead of the few a local supplier covers. That reach is why Nationwide Standard is £79 and Nationwide Featured is £199.

To keep it fair to local firms, nationwide suppliers appear below local suppliers on the same plan, and they don't use up the 3 local Featured spots in each district. Before choosing nationwide, suppliers tell us how they reach customers across the whole UK, including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

How our prices compare

Published figures for UK trade lead sites put monthly memberships at about £30 to £500 a month, and pay-per-lead prices at about £5 to £36 a lead. Our monthly plans start at £29 with no lead fees, and Pay per enquiry costs £7 to £20. Each Raybee enquiry goes to no more than 3 suppliers. See how Raybee compares with buying shared skip hire leads.

Questions about our prices

Do you take commission on the work I win?

No. Monthly plans have no commission and no lead fees. You agree the price with the customer and keep all of it.

Why do bigger council areas cost more?

A council area with more businesses has more potential customers searching for suppliers, so first place there is worth more. Pricing by official business counts keeps it consistent from one area to the next.

Why does Priority by council area cost more than Featured?

Priority includes everything in Featured, then adds exclusive first place in the council areas you choose. So it's the Featured price plus the price of each area.

Can two suppliers have Priority in the same area?

No. Priority is exclusive: each postcode district or council area has a single Priority supplier per service, and a spot that's taken can't be sold again. You can join a waitlist to be told if it becomes free.

Where do the business figures come from?

The Office for National Statistics' count of VAT and PAYE registered business sites in each council area, from UK business: activity, size and location 2026.
